About Aromatherapy
We employ the art and science of aromatherapy through the use of essential oils and hydrosols in Elka Herbals products.
We never use any “fragrance” to scent our products. Rather we use essential oils and floral waters (hydrosol) which not only smell great but are also wonderfully therapeutic.
Aromatherapy is the use of pure floral and herbal essences to enhance the condition of the skin, body and mind. The use of aromatherapy to heal and beautify dates back to ancient times. Today, the study of aromas has been elevated to a science and aromatherapy remains a remarkably useful method for restoring physical and emotional wellbeing.
